"Monroe's Motivated Sequence" is a great strategy to use when you want to persuade anyone about anything. Whether you want to persuade someone to look at a product or service, or you want to engage more meaningfully with students who may not be as successful as they'd like to be - this brief model gives you the tips you need to speak meaningfully.
In the 1930's, Psychologist Alan Monroe developed this model at Purdue University as a method for teaching Communications Department students effective persuasive strategies. Today, students, salespeople, and communicators in many industries use this method to attract attention, problem solve, and clinch deals.
